The “Ben”

The Ben (because its big… Big Ben… get it?) is a custom workspace built from solid hard maple. It features a low-profile storage cabinet and floating shelves with integrated LED lighting for a clean, modern look.

The cabinet was designed to do some heavy lifting: ventilated compartments keep computer and printer gear running cool, while three hidden drawers offer a place to stash the usual desk clutter. Built-in power and USB charging keep things within reach, and an integrated cable chase hides cords out of sight.

This piece was built to fit both the space and the lifestyle of its owner—a functional home office that stays tidy, feels open, and still leaves room for the rest of the family. Every detail was considered, from minimizing stubbed toes to keeping the aesthetic streamlined and modern.
